Welcome to the Investors in Families library of effective practice.

The IIF Library of Effective Practice is the fastest-growing collection of activities that schools and other settings can use to develop and improve their own working with families.

If you are registered as an IIF school, you will be able to access the Library.

Schools and other settings that have completed their priority activities should upload their activities (21 for new schools and 14 for schools seeking re-accreditation) and inform Chris Waterman and the peer assessor the school has been working with.

The peer assessor will then review the activities in advance of the accreditation visit and seek any further information. During the accreditation visit, the assessor will agree with the school which of the activities will be “published” in the library for other schools to read and download.

If you are a subscriber to the Library (for schools and other settings not in Wales) you will be able to access the Library and download any of the activities that are of particular interest to you. You are also able to contact the school to seek further information (within reason!).

If you wish to register as an IIF school, or to become a subscriber to the Library, please send an email to kate@waterman.education and we will contact you to discuss how we can assist you.

There is much more information and a contact form at www.iifwales.com – we look forward to hearing from you.
